Not Just Another Homebrew Book

It seem like every time I look there is another home brew book available explaining how to brew beer. Many of these books are simply a re-hash of the many brewing styles and methods that home brewers can use to create our favorite alcoholic beverages. Granted it’s hard to really find new content to write a home brew book about and keep it fresh when the basic process for brewing has remained the same for centuries.

As brewers we all know that despite our best efforts and intentions we sometime get a beer that just doesn’t quite measure up to our standards. Either the clarity, color or carbonation isn’t quite right or it just has an “off taste” to it that you just can’t put your finger (0r taste bud) on it.

You would think that a review such as this would be easy to write. I mean really, these are extract beer recipes, how complex can they be? There in lays the problem, there is no complexity! There really aren’t a lot of details to discuss and talk about! The brewing is simple and it has easy to follow instructions that make the whole process quick and easy, so I could pretty much end it right here and tell you to come back once the beer has conditioned and I’ve had my first taste.
