For years I had always thought about how cool it would be to brew my own beer. To be able to reach into the refrigerator and grab a bottle of beer hand it to a friend or relative and say, “try this, I made it” and watch their faces as they take the first sips of the wonderful elixir that I created. But I always seemed to have something else to do, I was always “too busy” working or raising my family to get into brewing! I’ve heard things like “You can’t brew real beer with that.” and “It’s a waste of time and effort when you only get 2 gallons of beer…”. But there are others that look at these simple beer making kits as a starting point or gateway into an obsession , umm, eer a hobby, yeah hobby, that’s it!
