Canadian and Wheat?

Post by pocketjr »

I'm thinking of mixing the Canadian Blonde and the Bavarian Weissbeer. Any thoughts on how this might turn out? Any additions you might suggest?

I actually did this as one of my earliest batches because a local outdoor store here sells them together with ocktoberfest as a 3-pack.

It took about 8 weeks to condition out and taste good, but by then it was nearly all drank.

I would suggest some sort of hop addition, because this combo is somewhat generic tasting.
Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain.
Quaintest thoughts — queerest fancies,
Come to life and fade away:
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today.
