intro to the collective
i'm a semi experienced extract brewer. i recently got back into the hobby after a 2 year break. i'm also a science geek and an old hippy who also grows mushrooms. i've discovered demon after searching for 2 gal. kits. my first from them is their nut brown ale. i'm a real fan of english ales. i'm waiting for some s-04 yeast in the mail before i brew. i've read here that i would be better off using that instead of the yeast that came with the kit. i have a batch of mb oktoberfest 2 weeks in the bottle now. 2 more weeks and i'll put one in the fridge. i've been bottling in 750 ml. swing top bottles. i always have questions as i've learned the only dumb ones are those that weren't asked. i've not noticed many new posts in the beginners section. there will be more there from me soon.

Welcome.
Ask away. We were all new at some point. People st some forums forget what it was like to be new, but I think most people here remember it .
