the pH of our well water is 5.9
want to raise it into the upper 6s
how much baking soda do I add to 1G to make it happen?

did look here and there for a calculator but came up empty handed ...

I'm pretty sure there's a calculator at Brewer's Friend that will get you what you need. I've not used it in awhile but one used to be there.

every brewing calculator i have found only acidifies water.
even bru'n water hasn't helped.

there are calculators or formulas to raise pH but they're designed for swimming pools and they produce inconsistent results.

Won't help much but I've read that 1 gram of baking soda neutralizes 1 mL of 88% Lactic Acid. I also can't find a calculator for this though I swore Brewer's Friend use to have one. I'll keep looking and share one if I can find one.

So you are looking to raise the ph of the water alone, hmm yeah I would guess most brewing calculators are set up to use in a mash and that may impact things differently. But, if you have Bru'N Water, maybe reach out to Martin directly. He has been helpful in the past and he just might have something to offer.
