powdered Peanut BUtter?

Take a minute to introduce yourself to the Borg and tell us what's brewing. You can ask questions here too!

powdered Peanut BUtter?

Post by 11bcollins11 »

HEy folks, I've had some good luck with non-boiild beginner kits for stouts, namely BD. I add some cold brewed coffee and cocoa powder to the wort, and love the results.

Recently saw powdered peanut butter in Costco - wondering if that is a good idea for another ingredient. Anyone have experience with this? Any PB/Chocolate stout makers have any tips?

Thanks

If it is low/no fat powdered PB then it is the perfect thing to be using for a peanut butter stout.

What you want to avoid is putting high fat ingredients in beer. That just does many "bad things".
