Interesting product, If someone didn't have room for a fridge or chest freezer to ferment in this would be a good way to go. I do find it interesting that they are using the Inkbird temp controllers.

Inkbird has been pushing very hard for awhile. It's priced right and rated very well.

It is pretty cool...literally. Just using cold water may not do the trick though. In the summer, my water runs in the high 60's out of the tap, sometimes warmer. That wouldn't do the trick for my Czech Pils.

Then you just need the $800 Glycol chiller they linked to!

Agreed, it's nice to have options for those that don't have room for a chest freezer/fermentation chamber.

I think you could use it with a reservoir of ice water. Like an electronic version of ice packs in a cooler.

The "frozen 2 liter bottle" trick, floating in a bucket of water, would work just fine I'm sure. Just replace bottle every so often.
