Sold Out

Post by Beer-lord »

I'm not sorry for waiting as I feel I got a good deal (rationalization) but SS Brewtech announced a pre-order of their new system and it already sold out. I'm surprised at the price which is less than I thought. And, it wasn't supposed to be out until early next year so good on them for having beat their date. I guess is there is a downside and I was trying to find something to be negative (which with SS BrewTech is hard to do) is that its very proprietary. That's both good and bad I guess.

It looks like a nice piece of kit. I don't brew batches big enough to justify anything like that, but if I did, it would be in the running.

There's a waiting list!
For now, the single vessel system is only sold with the 10 gallon pot and the next version will come in 20. I really want neither and like the 15 gallon size but you have to admit, everything about those guys at SS Brewtech shows class and quality. Also, I see no basket to do a BIAB with and that's not included so I guess my kit wasn't a bad deal after all.

How can they be sold out? They say "Pre-Orders Begin Friday (10/12) at Noon PST". Pre-orders haven't even started yet.

I wondered the same thing but a number of posts in the Reddit forum say the first run is sold out. Maybe today starts another run?????

I came into this thread thinking it was another "craft brewer sold out to InBev" story.

If I was way more serious about brewing I'd love something like that, but for what I do am happy with what I got (for now) You are right SsBrewtech has some great products and keeps getting better. I really like my brew bucket a lot , very well made.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Am I right?
But sometimes new toys are fun.

You are right on both comments. I spent around a thousand, a year and a half ago on new stuff and still having fun using it., and have a ways to go before I would ever get board with what I have now. New stuff once in a while will revive your brewing experience, even though you had a good system going before...
