It's back and there's more.

It's very tough this time of year for me but I emailed Jeff at Bootleg and asked and he said each yeast comes with a free ice pack and I can pay for an extra one or two and even choose express mail. Of course this makes for expensive yeast but I plan on buying 2 and then make large starters and save enough for about 5 brews each. That equals cheap yeast I hope.

Interesting. I have Arlingtonesis and Brulosophy Blend on hand. I'm too far and too wary to order liquid yeast in Summer. I've been hurt before.

Only place online I will do it is from MoreBeer if it's in stock in their "East" PA warehouse. If I pay for the better insulated ice pack ($3.99) I can get 3 liquid yeasts at my door the next day with free shipping if I buy some other stuff, and they are still cold (3 bags of yeast fit in the ice pack, so it's not that expensive).

And most months of the year it's too hot to ship yeast to me. But you likely have more options locally than I do for most yeasts. Only a handful of stores seem to sell Bootleg yeast but it seems they have no regular schedule for homebrewers and I guess the majority of their business is smaller craft breweries.

I'm not aware of any here that sell bootleg.
