It is fermenting right now at 67 degs. 10 above the ambient temperature and has been just around 24 hours, the airlock is busy. I think the way it is going I will start to let it climb because I still want some of them yeast characteristics but like you said, have to experiment a little to get it where you like. This wouldn't happen like this with a low pitch rate and is more controllable.

I can’t add much other than that I always overpitch other than under pitching. Or at least I try to.
