Arrowhead Hops Harvest Festival Sept 7

FYI for the few Iowans on here. Arrowhead Hops is having their annual Harvest Festival this Saturday, September 7 from 1-5PM. Info from their Facebook page:
"Arrowhead Hops will be holding the Third Annual Harvest Festival on September 7th 2013 from 1pm-5pm at the hop yard. The festival will feature harvesting hops, self-guided walking tours of the hop yard, homebrew tasting area, BBQ and door prizes. Please contact Arrowhead hops at
info@arrowheadhops.com or facebook.com/arrowheadhops with any questions."
Let me know if anyone else is planning to go. I'll be there.

My 9 month old daughter voted no. I was powerless to stop her. So cute...
I really wanted to go, but she would not have cooperated if I tried to go.

How was it?
What kind of hops do they grow?
Do they sell them there, or are they shipped off for sale?
It would be cool to drive 15 minutes to buy fresh hops locally.

2014 Hop Rhizomes Pre Sale thread.
I think he only sells directly if he has any left over after the two breweries he supplies. From talking to him on Saturday, it didn't sound like there will be any left overs this year. Never know though.
