American West Coast Yeast BRY - 97 ?

under the theory of "why the hell not?" i got a pack today. anybody ever use it?

I have used it, I seemed to get a lower attunement with it. I plan on sticking with SF-05 it just seems to work better for me.

I just made a batch of Brewer's Best APA, using 97. It's still fermenting. It smells great, and it foamed over on the second night.
Making beer and stew for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Never mind, there it is.

thanks for the responses. while i'll use what ever yeast a recipe calls for. when brewing my own recipes i tend to stick to 33, 05, or 06. felt adventurous

I have used it in 6 recipes now. I much prefer it over S 05 because it attenuates much better. I have yet to rehydrate it though.
