Mulling Spices

Post by ssorck »

FY I...

I'm planning on doing the Mr. Beer Spiced Xmas Ale recipe in the keg my Saison is in once I bottle this weekend. If you need to find mulling spices now to have Holliday beers ready...well for the holidays...I popped I to a Chef Central by me between appointments and they have them there. NOT in the spice section but in the wine section. So if you have a Chef Central in the vicinity might wanna check there.

Hope that helps someone...

Its helpful to know where they are though. If I was looking I probably would have been in the spice aisle scratching my head before I figured out that I was in the wrong place. Now I won't have to look silly while looking for them.

And if you can't find it in the spice isle, or the wine isle, try the tea area. Sure is hard to find "out of season" though.

I shop at Penzey's since they have the best Spices and selection.

Located in 29 states.

Once you start using their spices you will never buy the old crap at other stores again :)
