So...there's this thing called Rat Fest!

I know that I've mentioned Rat Fest before because I did a search to make sure. But real quick Rat Fest is a homebrew club competition that is put on by and at Arbor Brewing Co. in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This year 7 clubs were invited to participate and brew 4 different recipes, one being a sour beer the other 3 being unique and interesting recipes. At the Michigan Homebrew Festival I had brewed my Citra-Nilla IPA (Brewed with Citra hops and Vanilla beans) and got a lot of great feedback on this brew and I was encouraged by my fellow club members to submit this recipe for this competition. Well fast forward to today when I learned that my Citra-Nilla recipe was accepted and I will be brewing it in December at Arbor Brewing on they're pilot system called the Rat Pad (thus the name of the competition Rat Fest).

I'm really excited to be able to brew this recipe at Arbor Brewing and represent the Son's of Liberty Homebrew Club.

That's neat. I remember you talking about that recipe and thought it sounded intriguing. Seems we have a lot of folks here that are stretching their wings and winning competitions, getting jobs at breweries, brewing on pilot systems, etc.
