Apparently I was asleep at the wheel and totally missed it. I had a couple of people send me PMs about it.
At this point I am hoping I don't need to delete this poll and start a new one.

I missed the 2.5 hours. Nothing wrong with Buffalo. Poll is good to go with one dropped out candidate, one viable candidate, and a Buckeye. :o

I've decided that should the votes for both Inkleg and PaperKittenBrewingCo wind up being more than the votes for BigPapaG then we are looking a a do over. Otherwise we are good to go. I've also decided there will be a simple chart showing previous BOTMs in future nomination threads for both other members and myself to reference.

EDIT:Maybe something like this:

Whew, I was worried the FBI director would have to be called in to make a final decision. :jumpy: He just might have gotten this one wrong.

'In today's news: Political Scandal, the likes of which have never been seen before, is fermenting in the great State of Borg!

Repeatedly nominated BPG has apparently brewed up a nomination for long time Borg Brewer Inkleg, in violation of Borg BOTM regulations! This mis-timed addition has sparked a political scandal of boil-over proportions causing election officials to step in and lower the heat.'

'When questioned, BPG had this to say: "I would like to thank my esteemed Borg Brother for bringing this issue out of the mill and into the pot, and also our Party Organizer for stepping in to reduce the heat at this very important time"

No comment was heard from PaperKittenBrewingCo, the remaining legitimate contender in this race but it is clear our readers are sensing an aroma of victory as it appears this will certainly add malt to the backbone of PKBC's campaign.

We further sampled the brew in the BPG camp and were able to obtain this gusher of a comment from BPG himself: "I wish to appologise for letting this error out of the bottle and would like to sanitize this once and for all. Therefore, I will be lifting a toast to my fellow Borg member and capable, award winning contender, PaperKittenBrewingCo.! With this toast, I will be draughting my support for my contenders' campaign and casting my vote for PaparKittenBrewingCo."

When asked about the Oh_io connection, BPG refused to comment.

All in all, the case for this new announcement certainly takes the lid off of this keg of race and pulls the taps wide open in a race that is sure to be remembered, pint after pint after pint"

Reporting live on this very important recipe for disaster, this is Chicago Online Election News and Brews, wishing you a pleasurable voting experience, time and time again!

I'm tired of insider corruption. All of these candidates are backed by Big Homebrew, greedy corporations, and even St Louis! I heard that a mysterious "Mr Beer" got them all into brewing in the first place, and there are even rumors of dark rites to call a Brew Demon.
We the People want another thread, possibly another forum, certainly paid for by someone else!
But I voted for Papa anyway. Will there be cigars?
