Pics - Horse Bottle Opener With BOTM Award

I feel a little like a Baseball Card Collector.

I created a sort of archive page about the Mr. Beer Fans Brewer Of The Month. ( Check the "LINK MBF BOTM PAGE" in my sig )

It has the rotating past BOTM pics, the Mr. Beer Fans Banners created by Frosty, pics of the BOTM award, and a list of the MBF BOTMs. But, a few BOTM "Award" pics have been missing. When the MBF site was abruptly shut down interest was lost in sending pics.

One "Award" pic that was missing was of the very last MBF BOTM with the "Award" -- Frosty's Horse Bottle Opener. The "Horse" had been nominated a couple times but had never won. With the nominations and voting going on after the notice MBF would be shut down and a sort of Nero fiddling while Rome burns atmosphere the "Horse" was the run away winner. Frosty recently sent me pics of the "Horse" with the "Award". They are now on the MBF BOTM Trivia page and included in this post as well.

I am now just missing 2 MBF BOTM "Award" pics. So MattKnox or RayF, if you have a pic of the "Award" I would like to see it. Those are the only 2 cards missing from my MBF BOTM "Award" pic collection.

I had thought about asking the bottle opener to give a speech about being the last MBF BOTM, but as you can tell, it's a little horse.

lol... loved the writeup, Prof. This is all so oddly hilarious to me, and probably ONLY to me. For those of you who weren't there, the horse bottle opener was a bit of a running rib on me, after a mishap I had while using said bottle opener, on camera. After this, I learned to pry, turn the bottle, repeat. ... dang, can't believe this was 5 years ago. Maybe I'll do some more beer reviews, at some point, when I have free time.... oh... right... free time, indeed.

Sorry to say but since I was one of the last human MRBfans BOTM winners I didn't bother taking a picture because the site was shutting down. I didn't think it would be posted since the Jagoffs shut it down.

Oh well, a card collector can't collect a card that doesn't exist. And since a pic doesn't exist I think I may just make a "placeholder" using your post above, Ray. That'll do.

I actually still have a couple screenshots of MBF that I took within its last few days, including one of my final post (before "THAT DAMN HORSE") infiltrated my account.
