Naked Cat and the Peach State Brew Off
I'll take it Flight 6 and 16. The Stout scored 38.5 and English Bitter a 37.5.
I want to Thank everyone here for making me a better brewer.
This is interesting and I'll have to wait to see the score sheets themselves. My Brett IPA scored 37.5 as a Speciality beer, but 20 as an IPA.
The same RIS is being judged in another competition next week. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for another placing.

Some great scores, there. Especially as a group -- e.g., it's not just one great score and some mediocre ones...those are all rock-solid. Good work!!

Awesome. Congrats. I am trying to figure out if I want to sit on the RIS for a while or open it up. I opened the base sour with some friends and it was enjoyed by everyone.

Those are awesome scores Inkleg. Congrats!

Going to try and post the score sheets for the Brett IPA. Same beer, two different categories. Though we might think BJCP judges don't know what they are talking about. Looks to me like they take their volunteer job pretty serious.
Looks like that can't be read. Let me work on this.
Brett IPA 23a
Brett IPA 14b

I thought about learning to be a judge then realized being an a-hole and a judge was too much of a coincidence so I left it alone.
Jeff, what happened to your avatar? I just see a black box!

Interesting score sheets. Looks like they scored it well. They sure picked out the sourness in the IPA category. And rightly so. But you sure made up for it in the other category. Just goes to show that you have to make sure you enter your beers in the correct category. Well done my friend!!!
Paul...I see his avatar just fine. Looks like a cat having some self enjoyment.

It's back now. All last night and this morning it was just a black box. No worries (except for the cat)
