I think in the specialty beer category, if it was entered again in 8 months, a lot of the "not as Belgian" and "not as sour" comments would change, but it would also lose some of the hop notes, so it would be interesting to see how such scores would relate. Of course that much funky/sour would make the IPA judged head explode LOL.

I would disagree with the "not bitter enough" comments in specialty personally, I though the balance of bitter/tart was fine. If I thought it could use more hops it would be on the front end/flavor side, not bittering. You really don't want too much bitter in a beer with souring bugs. Too much bitter + too much sour = yuck.
