I soaked 1oz of Medium Toast Hungarian Oak in Cruzan Single Barrel for two weeks and added it all to about 1.5 gallons of Oatmeal Stout. The dregs in the soak jar tasted very oak-y, I hope that time and mixing with beer will mellow it. I will update.

I opened a bottle of this today, it was quite good. Even my wife said so.
