Great South Bay Blonde: Modify?

Post by John Sand »

Arbor Wine and Beer collaborated with GSB Brewery on an extract version of their Blonde Ambition. I have one of their five gallon extract kits, I plan to brew half straight up, with the supplied apricot extract. What shall I do to the other half? :jumpy: I'm tempted to add some steeped grains. They mix Blonde and Blood Orange in a growler, I like that. My wife has asked for blueberry beer, I can do that. The recipe for five gallons straight is:
6.6lbs Breiss Pilsen Lt
.75oz saaz @60
.75 hallertau @20
.25 Hallertau @5
.25 hallertau @ 0
4oz apricot extract in secondary.
Anyone succeeded in modifying a Blonde? (You know, outside of Hollywood?)
Making beer and stew for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Never mind, there it is.
