This one is almost finished and it's really the best it's ever been. I'm surprised at how much aroma there is still left in it being so old. There is less aroma but it's way more than any other IPA I've made that is this old. Nice bitter thru and thru and light, perfect for the summer.
This one is really surprising me.

That's great news. Maybe, just maybe, we are drinking these too soon. I've had a couple IPA's that surprised me too as they aged. I may start to give mine 4 to 5 weeks (instead of 3 weeks) before I start drinking mine. Although it will be really hard to wait.

Oddly enough, my IPA and my IPL that I brewed a while ago were both good early but GREAT (IMO) later as well. NOT months and months later, but a few weeks to a month.
I still think there is something to be said for aging them just a bit.
