Raspberry Ale

Post by jpsherman »

This turned out fantastic! Very refreshing, ideal summer beer to beat the heat, too bad its winter! I will remake to be ready for next summer, but I may do wheat DME in place of MrB golden LME.

I skipped a step and did not puree the raspberries. Still had sufficient raspberry flavor/aroma, fairly clear beer (I didn't even cold crash!), and I had less to clean/fewer infection risks.

1-American Ale
1-Golden LME
2 cans Oregon Raspberries
Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain.
Quaintest thoughts — queerest fancies,
Come to life and fade away:
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today.

– Edgar Allan Poe
