Pretty much. Its a lot easier to experiment with stock that NEEDS to be used up. Once it becomes a sunk cost, it is sorta like free beer, sorta. Just make sure you keep good notes in case it is better or worse than expected. All my brews get written down in a notebook, even if I used a computer program to design it.

I've been brewing for just less than a year and it is amusing to read my older notes. The best thing you can ever do in my opinion is take good notes of what you do. Because seemingly minor details can have major results.
Fill with mingled cream and amber,
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain.
Quaintest thoughts — queerest fancies,
Come to life and fade away:
What care I how time advances?
I am drinking ale today.

I will take notes for sure. What kind of fermetors do you use?
You seem to have quite the pipeline. Also, if you have a recipe you might want
To share I'd be really grateful.

I have 3 LBK's. 1st one was gifted, other two I bought when MrB dropped certain kits down to half price for a very limited time. I would like to eventually phase in a LBC for brewing and start using a LBK as a secondary, or for batch priming. Right now I bottle prime. I let beer sit in the fermentor for 3 weeks to assure its done. With 3 fermenters I can bottle beer every week, then after cleaning that keg I can brew a new batch. I usually let a beer condition (room temperature) for 3-4 weeks before trying. This means if I'm not feeling lazy I can brew a new batch, bottle a batch, and drink a new beer every week.

Here are some recipes I've made. I would recommend that you read other peoples suggestions and comments on my recipes. I like my recipes but the borg has given me so many great suggestions on how to make them even better!

Now that it has conditioned more and the hops are subsiding, I am starting to notice definite fusel flavors from fermenting to hot.
