Joe Chianti turned me onto this site.

You can buy by the ounce and up to 11 ounces, shipping is 2.99 flat rate.

12 or more ounces it's 5.50 flat rate.

I just ordered a bunch of hops for my next few brews.

Got my Columbus hops from them on ebay. I think they were $1.05 an ounce with free shipping at the time. I think prices are up a little now, but still free shipping. Great for when you only want to buy an ounce or 2 worth at a time.

Willamette is a very good vendor for small orders. I learned of them from Swenocha awhile back, and have been very happy with them. But yes, the prices have gone up recently. Still competitive and still good for getting large quantity prices on small quantities. The varieties are limited, but there's a nice spread of choices, anyway.

T8r recently pointed out to me another vendor with very good prices and a much wider selection of varieties. The only catch is they sell in 4 ounce minimum lots, so if you are a modest hops user, that could be an issue. Prices run in the 80 cent to $1.50/ounce range, mostly. Shipping seems to run 60 cents/ounce on the 1st 4 ounces and about 45 cents/ounce for any larger amount than that. Here's the link, if I did it right:

I haven't used Willamette Valley, but Farmhouse is fantastic. If you're brewing a hoppy beer, or plan on using the same hop for several consecutive brews, the 4 oz packs are excellent, and shipping is real cheap. I needed 3 oz of Calypso for the Belgian pale ale I did, so that 4 oz pack came in handy. I still have about an ounce left but I'm sure I'll use it in another brew.

I have been ordering from Willamette for some time. I learned it is best to order the next tier up on the shipping. When using the cheap shipping my hops often came with the seal punctured.

Joe, good point on Farmhouse.

I love their 4 oz packs. Just right to have enough on hand to do whatever you want to do.

They have a good selection as well. I've basically ordered all of my hops from either Farmhouse or WVH in the last year and a half.
