Michigan legislation?

Post by hopjedi »

Has anyone in Michigan heard of any recent legislation being passed to allow homebrewers to sell or distribute their brew to others besides club members?

I would have to say based on opinion that it aint happening at least from a selling standpoint. First, it would take away from the beer taxes. Second, they would be no way to regulate the brewing environment and ingredients. From a sharing stanpoint, a few bars (that I wont mention in case it is not legal) often have talks by commercial brewers and special events and they invite homebrewers to bring their wares in for sampling and not just by the club members.
