All the measurments that were "actual " should have been zeroed out before I copied a pasted the screen shot.
I hadn't brewed this IPA yet so there so there were no measurements to take. The pre-boil volume was 2.5 the batch size should've been 1.5 because I boil off about a gallon.

I did this brew yesterday and actually had 1.4 gallons going into the fermenter. I left a lot of trub behind.

I steeped the specialty grains for 30 minutes. I then boiled that along with some water ( total 2.5 gallons) and at the end I added all the dry extract.
My final gravity was 1.058.
I missed final gravity by just a little bit.

I tried this IPA today and it's really good! After brewing 3 infected batches it's great to have one that I like! It's a pretty simple recipe too. There's a lesson for me. Extract ,steeping grains and hop additions can make a really tasty brew.

I drank it two weeks early but it's still good.

I know the feeling of recovering from a streak of infections. Congratulations on your recipe!
