It's amazing how complicated programming the STC1000+ seemed when I first got mine. Now it's second nature to me and very easy to adjust, I'm still lovin mine.

Fortunately there are good videos out there that walk you through it and they made the learning quick. I'm anxious to start programming profiles but for now I'm happy knowing that I have stellar temp contol.

Still. Loving. This.

My IPL is finally ready for a d-rest and with a couple of clicks I raised the temp by 3 degrees this morning. I'm going to bump it up 3 more tomorrow.

I love this thing!

I'm going to bump this thread again for anybody that is considering purchasing an STC-1000. I love, love, love it.
Pitched my yeast at 69, set my temp at 69 and it hasn't fluctuated more than .5 degrees since!

And I haven't even started playing with setting profiles yet!

I'm with you been using one since '13. It's great

Started using the non-profile version last summer and I love it also. Was fun to assemble too.
I have over 9,000 posts on "another forum", which means absolutely nothing. Mr. Beer January 2014 Brewer of the Month with all the pomp and circumstance that comes with it...

I know I was late to the game with this purchase, but I want to keep it top of mind for anybody else that is thinking about this type of temp control.

I bought it versus built it. Wiring = not my thing. I'd have ended up boiling my wort in my carboy.

One of the things I miss the most after not brewing for a while is using my STC-1000+

Greg's now shipping the PRO model, for those who like programming their own code for the STC-1000 controller, it's got a built in Arduino board to make things easier.
