Fool or hero?

Post by Matth »

My friend who posted this on Facebook calls him a true American hero. If it was home brew, definitely. But for Butt lite? Fool!

I'm with you. Homebrew, yeah. Bud Light? Uh......no. That's just pants-on-head stupid.

I saw that on the news and thought to myself when some local homebrewers see the story they will drown him in real beer to show what is worth saving and what isn't. :laugh

Seriously... a big zero, homebrew or not.... Maybe by telling the story he thinks Bud will give him free beer, no one would touch that with a 10 foot pole, especially since he admitted being an alcoholic...

That was exactly my first thought! I'm sure Budweiser will try to figure out how to profit from this with a parity commercial or something since no one was hurt but, I don't see anything coming of it.

Should have left it behind and hoped the exploding cans would help douse the flames.

I get that, and think most do. My apologies. It was poor taste and judgment to poke fun at a misfortunate idiot with an addiction.

All I could think about when reading that article was "hmmm, that Igloo in the side of the fire truck would make a spiffy mash tun." I guess I am a brewaholic.

"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain

Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Fire has no more taste than he does. It will happily consume nothing but water and retardant without complaint. :p
