My most cherished Blue ribbon is the IPA, all home grown hops, and a lot of them and comando'd and it was a mess when I brewed it. Dry hopped with more in a secondary. I gave a couple bottles to a friend that owns a 12 tap bar and loves IPA's and he said he would put that on tap. I'm not in the brewing business, but I think I got a good one there but I don't think I could make it the same every time. I think the best beer I've ever brewed, so far that is....I was happy to get a few ribbons and didn't expect it because there is a lot of good home brewers out there in my area including the owner of the LHBS I go to and I had his beers and are good.

The fact that you can't make the exact same beer again makes it even more magical.
But keep trying to redo it anyway. :)

Congrats. IF you can't make it exactly the same every time, call it a "series" and do limited releases of each new variation. It'ss the rage these days.

My brewing is an endless series LOL. But that's just because I like variety and messing around.
