Re: Dark Cherry Saison
I used it before in a straight forward DME brew with Saf05 that came out great. But the taste seem perfect for a Saison I can't wait for this one.

Re: Looking for a simple extract recipe for a newbie!
Simple SMaSH would be a great start. 2 gal batch Single Malt = 3lbs of light DME Single Hope @ 5-10min. A quick Ale yeast like Saf 05 He could be done in 15 mins. Yingling has Cascade hop, so if he use something similar he will be in good shape. What style would this be? I am working with a lbk.......

Re: maple milk stout
This did not come out too good. I think the extract is producing a weird flavor. I going to let this sit in the bottles for a while.

Re: RCE beer - Black Hops

I'm looking forward to tasting this one. https://www.brewtoad.com/recipes/black-hops-5 Be advised that we cold-steeped the specialty grains (30 minutes). The guy at the LHBS told me w...

Re: Recipe Collaboration Exchange Fall 2014 - Pairings
I haven't heard from BeerRust since before I brewed the Black Hops, which was a week ago. Curious. But I've got my beer in the carboy, and I think it's gonna be a good one. I hope he's brewed his (or will be brewing it soon), and that he has great success with it. I really have a good feeling about...

Re: maple milk stout
Waited a little longer to botlle this one. Bottled yesterday sample was good its closer to a porter than stout. May have rework to get more stoutish. I also intentionally carbed it low. We will see in a few weeks how it finished.
